Adsense Coming to Twitter?
I was sending one of my random twits to a non-Twitter friend and I noticed how wonderfully white the page was. I was curious how much code went into creating that nice blank page so I took a look at the source.
I was a little surprised to see Google Adsense in there. It’s not showing on the page, but it’s there, right inside <div id="ad">
Twitter has ads in Japan. People were wondering what Twitter’s business model might be State-side, and this could be the start.
Before-I-could-push-submit-update: I sent my discovery to Tom, who also had no idea. He used this thing called Google and found this post from a
year ago. So it looks like the code’s been around, but many of us simply aren’t seeing the ads (yet).

What If Firefighters Ran the World?
“What If Firefighters Ran the World?”, a fun spot from Sprint, a current favorite of mine.
Tom has countered with DirecTV’s “We Go Viral”.

Red is anger.
Red is love.
Green is greed.
Green is go.
Yellow is caution.
Yellow is happy.
Blue is sad.
Blue is life.
Black is scary.
Black is sexy.
White is empty.
White is pure.
Orange is… fruity?

The HD Update
So all the channels I listed that I was looking forward to receiving back in Feb disappeared.
Yesterday Time Warner finally made an announcement regarding the new HD channels.
So by the end of the month I’ll have a good amount more to watch, if the channels actually use HD content, that is (unlike TBS HD’s stretchy broadcast).
I wish I would have gotten NHL HD earlier so I could have seen some games in HD, but at least I’ll finally have Versus HD for some of the playoffs.

Happy Easterday
We didn’t do anything for Easter this year. I wound up going to a Chinese restaurant to pick up dinner. There were a few people in there, a mix of Asian and white, and seemingly in good spirits.
I paid for my food and as I was taking the bag from the hostess she said, “happy Easterday.”
For whatever reason, that seemed to take all the religion out of it. It was suddenly yellow and pink, with bunnies and dyed eggs.
With a smile I replied, “happy Easterday to you.” She seemed quited pleased I returned her farewell.
A belated happy Easterday to you all.

The Usual Suspects
Wow, thank you Hulu.
I’m impressed you can embed the entire movie. Yes, there are some ads in there, but still, very impressive.
Note: I had to shrink this down from the normal embed size. I’ll adjust it after I widen the design (which I plan on doing soon).
